The National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (NARO) and Shimadzu have been investigating fast, convenient, and accurate methods for analyzing foods' functional compone🐎nts for its research and social implementation purposes. This kit provides the validated test method from sample pretreatment through a run of HPLC, developed in cooperation with NARO, for measuring the catechins in tea leaves. Reliable catechin values can be easily obtained, and the quantitative results are shown immediately in a report. This kit strongly supports data acquisition required for applications and the development of functional foods, and can even be used for quality control of tea products.
